I recently have been terminated from Swift after over 2 years as Owner Op. Reason for termination are preventables. I have 1 that I got just after I started as a solo driver. To tight of a U Turn in parking lot denting radiator. 2nd one was blind back being guided by customer and trailer door smacked air fitting on a parked trailer. Claim was for 350.00. 3rd one I was pulling straight into slot and trailer scratched quarter panel. Not dents or holes just scratches. Minor claim. 4th one woman called in and said I cut her off while changing lanes. She scraped barricade. 1500.00 claim. 3 of these claims are very minor with no injuries. My DAC does not reflect anything other than accident. Is there an agency that can make the report look better

This company http://www.dacfix.com/ may help you out but I have a serious inquiry for you.
How does someone calling in and making a complaint result in a preventable? Even SWIFT can't be this grossly negligent and liable for dinging a driver's professional record with nothing more than a call from a four-wheeler. What did you leave out?skyviper73 and 48Packard Thank this. -
4 accidents in 2 years, no wonder they fired you.
You are a big risk.
The first one can be discounted since you were a new driver.
Second one, well, I guess you saw no reason to GOAL when you should have taken the time to do so on a blind back.
Third one, even going straight you don't seem to be looking where you are going - on BOTH sides.
Fourth one, well, everyone gets the idea that you simply don't look and have poor judgement. -
You are an owner operator.
Take your truck and go sign on with another company.
Problem solved.losttrucker and EZX1100 Thank this. -

Maybe Swift's reputation for "backing" accidents will improve now. Thanx for being honest though. Honestly maybe this Trucking Thang ain't for you..

well you have had more than your share, huh? but i dont think you are beyond redemption. you need to start paying a heck of a lot better attention, especially when backing. never trust anyone. get out 84 times to look if you need to, but be sure you always know what is GOING to happen when backing. 5 more feet, is it clear? are you SURE? if not, get out and look again. if it was a lease deal, and they took the truck back, then find a company who will hire you as a company driver. you dont need the added headaches of being an owner, you need to learn how to drive a truck FIRST. if you can find someone to hire you, dont worry about "cleaning the past up". stay with whoever hires you for a year minimum. treat every day as if your next accident will be your last. $500 or $50k, a bad history makes you a bad risk. start fresh, and get a good history from now on. its possible, if you make the effort.

If I had that record I think I would think so.
I bended a fender 2 weeks into solo. That gave me a heads up, and nothing since.
But if I did all of that, when I got fired, I figure I would stay fired and look for another line of work before I actually killed someone. -
He's prob leasing truck from swift no way he owns his truck and drives like that...

I think He also forgot this

I wonder how He got there ?
