Fisher, the only difference in plastic on the new truck compared to the old truck is the hood and front fenders other then that the cab and sleeper are of the same material as the old 379s and the new 389s.

I don't ever wish to have an overly loud exhaust again. It is so nice being able to hear the stereo without having it blasting my ears all the time. The biggest thing I am glad to be rid of is that POS bridged C15 cat. I do miss the hood out front but other then that it is pretty much the same as the old truck just updated interior wise.

Who needs a stereo when you got a cat singing all day long?

Honestly I miss driving the classic XML from my trucking school. It wasn't straight piped but it had free flowing mufflers and sounded so dang nasty with that n14. I hate a quiet truck, I feel like I ain't driving a truck, more like a town car. It infuriates me. I wanna hear that engine growl

My ideal truck would be a 230 in wb cabover (not brand specific) with a nice little 48x102 closed tandem flat (I can load my trailer to deal with the closed tandem and save on tires compared to a spread)

Nice simple cabover, not a ton of chrome or lights, just lights across the roof, on the mirrors and then a 22" square bumper, nice little flat top with a small sleeper, air ride...headache rack to cover up all the junk at the back of the cab...

I'll buy one once my wifes out of school, then my luck they'll ban all the old iron from running the roads...

Mine is not 300 inches but you can be the proud owner of it if you like 425C modle cat air ride cab and suspension, headache rack 10 speed over 391 rears 8 Bridgestone 726el drive tires with less than 150miles 10 alumiun wheels Fass fuel system ,OPS Ecopur oil bypass system( but still do oil changes at 15000 miles) this sound like a classified add Exempt from Canadas' speed limiter laws and exempt from California emission retrofit laws

    Logan76 Thanks this.
