If there arent any placarding its probably because they dont want the general public throwing a fit that its rolling close to where they live. While I wish we didnt have to dispose of this there are plenty of people who would love to stop the movement of this stuff. Just my opinion.

That would also be my guess. Attract the smallest amount of un wanted attention as possible.

*watches scale,,,, break*
I assume these guys get paid hourly? I know they can't run in the dark. And they probably have armed guards watching the trailer overnight while the drivers sleep. (at least I hope so!) Can you imagine 11-12 hrs a day on the low side of the gearbox? sheesh! -
My guess would be, in order to prevent everything around from being saturated with radiation, that waste container is lined with a thick layer of lead. Thats why you need all of those axles. Lead is extremely heavy.

It's not legal then per dot. I thought we all had to follow the rules? If it was such a threat why isn't it surrounded by a security force/military.
-
Connect the dots on that one.

Though I'm not privvy to the details of this load, for a lot of super-loads getting to this size, the night time is the only time they are allowed to move in high traffic areas so the four-wheeler's traffic doesn't become a complete SNAFU.

Can't help but to notice the username "Colorado Green"...laughs

Sure I'll strap and tarp that load....It'll cost them about $1000/M though......
