    well it was a long and hard 2 and a half weeks but i have nothin bad to say about them. i'm at the richmond facility everyone here is nice as can be and will help you with anything you need. now im waiting for my trainer. overall great time made new friends for life.

    Richmond, IN ? wht u did a refresher there then ur goig out with a trainer for phase 1 then teaming for phase 2.

    given them thought but they are saying to send me to Dallas for refresher, i asked them why not Burns Harbor or Richmond recuiter says Dallas.

    wht i dont like about them is there medical insurance they have new pple isnt much after one year ya can get on there bcbs and its pretty good. the problem is most pple dont stick around.

    how ws the refresher course? did ya learn something? how long since u been in a truck?

    Myslef, I live up here in Fort Wayne. Have talked to them asked them to post some pics up. Since it is a new campus.

    About how many hours did you recive driving"behind the wheel"?
    The motel you stayed in. Was it an old "roach motel". Like up in burns harbor?

    Did you get the Six month contract? Pays off in six months instead of one year?
    Also,,, the big one,,,, if your waitting for your trainner. Are they paying you for waitting.

    Might start in a week,,,, or go to centeral refigerated. Since I already have passed my written,, with hazmat background,,, and "TWIC" card.

    Central refigerated is better,,,, but you have to pass the writtens in that state. Also sign up for a year,, or they get very pissed if you quite early,,,,,.

    sorry i havent been on lately richmond indiana. its alright hotels they use are the echono lodge and the budget inn on the ohio side not the greatest but its somewhere to sleep. driving time is about a hour a day for 5 or 6 days. when waiting on a trainer you get 20 dollars a day. once on the truck you get 61.43 a day. i dont reccomend going to them though once you get out on the road they treat you like trash. i've been on the road for 3 months straight. kept asking my dm for time off got it approved then my dm would have me over a 1000 miles away on the day my time off started. so i took my truck back to burns harbor took my stuff and left. im now working for melton trucking great company cant complain about anything so far.

    the drug test is a piss test when you get to the school, then they do a random hair test a week after you've been there. as for the truck yes you get your own truck after training but there may a wait for one. if you get into one right away going home is between you and your dm

    So when I get there I'll take the piss test then does everyone take the hair test or is it a random pick? So when you get your truck what do you do? Do they pay for gas and maintance? How long were you gone?

    yes its completely random. and once in truck talk to your dm and tell him/her that you wanna get home. if you go company they pay for fuel and maint. if you lease you have 2 options which are the cap and the rebate. the cap is where they pay for so much fuel then you do. the rebate is if you maintain a 6.1 or higher mpg they pay 84% of your fuel bill. and i was out for 3 and half months straight

    also every time you pull into a cr yard you have a chance of being put on stop dispatch for a random piss test. mainly in salt lake though
