Yeah and if it has apportioned tags and is just not marked with anything anywhere? I didnt look at the full size pic and see the placards but I am just making a point to say if you read that thread I posted there are pics of examples of what I am talking about.

You could just have a state plate with permits.

I've hauled a few non placard rad loads. On top of that, a two lane wide move like this one is going to be surrounded by many LEOs and DOT. It's not your typical dry van with a corrosive load.

They have police from every state running with them.
I kinda know the rte. they took last year..
They will shut the road down in sections for it to get through..
Was fun watching it come through Wendover last year.
Takes them a bit to make the turn to the east.. -
You'd wear the toe of your boot out kickin all those tires!

i'm not sure that the placards would be the attention getter on that monstosity.milskired, Working Class Patriot, SHC and 1 other person Thank this.

Not quite the same thing...But I hauled an OD load from Grand JCT to San Diego....It was a permitted load requiring escort....
It was an aquarium for a mall being built down in Cabo.....Anyway...The 4-Wheelers were ##### near running into me just to get a good look at it.....So much so, that the escort had to run the zipper most of the way down the 15......

That's ok, I had some 13' steel plate on going to Eagle Pass and I almost decapatated a guy on a motorcycle becasue he came screaming up the road and was looking behind him for his buddy. I was already driving the shoulder of the highway and he just happened to look up in time to swerve around it. Would have taken that noggin clean off....

Clean up lane 2 please.. I know...
