You may want to do some hard core research on Central BEFORE you get on that bus because once you get there your on your own to get home if it doesn't work out and once you sign that paperwork your stuck till you pay off your schooling. My husband drove for them as a company driver as well as an owner/operator and well as a company driver he earned an ok paycheck but once they sucker you into the lease program those checks disappear and you end up owing the company money every week. Google google google....yes they are currently being sued by MANY drivers and this is not the first time they have been sued and if they keep up these practices it won't be the last time they are sued I'm sure. You are of course your own person who is free to do as you please. My advice is to seriously do research first though. It's a huge commitment and I wouldn't take it lightly. Just search this forum and you can find a lot of information and like I said Google. I'd hate to see you ruin a perfectly good christmas for nothing. As a matter of fact Google the lawsuit the woman just won from being sexually harassed by her trainer and the company did not help her is my understanding. If you choose to go through with it then I pray you turn out to be one of the lucky ones who has a good experience but they seem to be few and far between and just remember DO NOT SIGN A LEASE. A lease costs you almost 1000.00 a week for 3 years and at the end if you want to keep your truck you have to come up with around 70,000.00 to buy it out. Do the math...at almost 1000.00 a week for 3 years that is almost 156,000.00 you have paid to drive that truck that is not counting your fuel costs or maintenance costs and a brand new truck sucks a lot of fuel till it gets broken in good around 125,000 miles or better. If you go stay company but my advice would be to keep looking.......

Oh yeah and the Conley facility is dirty nasty gross and most people would NOT want to lay their heads anywhere near it. The only nice one is in Salt Lake because that's where corporate is.

every company has bad things just like you said. i havent even started trucking and I know not to sign a lease program. this is a starter company you get in ,get experience and get out. also the recruiter tells you on the phone if your application is a lie then you have to find your own way. home.
