I got a cool trip today, got to take my 2006 trailer to the carrier dealer in raleigh and drop it off forever. Now I am sitting at the Petro in Mebane NC and headed to Marion VA tomorrow to get a BRAND NEW Trailer. I get to be first, (my cherry)

Thanks for the tip and I was tracking that one. I will make sure to get my 348 before I get out. I also went to 64C school back in 1986 and I still have the certifcate for that as well. Thanks again for the tip.

A few other things you might want to check. Have the shop check the health of the DPF filter, as they are expensive out on the road. Have them clean it out before you take it. Check the S-cam tabs on the rear axles. Have them replace any that are cracked. See if you can have a Charge Air Cooler test done before you accept the truck, as a leak will kill power and fuel efficiency. Check to see when the next PM is due and have them do it before you accept the truck. All of thes items are big $$$ and if you get them done before you accept the truck, you won't have to shell out sheckles later.

Early drive to Indy on I-70 for Harry & David. I love pulling their load$. Drop at Fedex Smart Post in Indy. Been seeing alot of shooting stars this AM. Saw 8 so far.
