Ellenwood is the only terminal I've been too in over a month, and that was just to pick up a relay and scoot. That was about two weeks ago.

At the Petro in Perrysburg, OH. I came out of Baltimore this morning after delivering last night. Originally they wanted me in Chicago at 1100 on Friday for this load but now I have an appt at 1400. I don't like delivering in the afternoon on Fridays because I usually get stuck with the scraps when it comes to loads for the weekend courtesy of my FM Since I mentioned it I always wonder why I get better runs for the weekend when other FMs are watching my FM's board.

Eh. That was the direction I wanted to go in, but I decided against it. Programming and figuring out issues or working with Linux based systems comes easy to me, but seeing how quick things changes and how often you have to keep updating stuff to keep up.. Just a endless task.

Seems like a fecal matter appointment time for a Friday in Chicago.

Fortunately this is a WR Grace load and it delivers to a place right down the street from Graham Packaging so it isn't to difficult to get to. Its just this whole Friday afternoon thing. I did do myself a favor, since they decided to route me up through PA on 83, 322 and 80, and requested a new fuel stop because that 71 gallons I took in Dubois just isn't going to be enough to get me to Burns Harbor comfortably. Now I fuel at P-Lot down the road from here and get to run 294 instead of 94.

Yeah the forklift driver told me I couldn't use chains. I told him I'm putting a chain on the front and rear slinkies or I'm not hauling the load. He told me to just make sure I used edge protection. The consignee didn't care, he even told me I shouldn't have tarped it, the shipper is who requires it to be tarped.

I'd rather use a strap then a chain on the front and rear anyway, you can torque the crap out of it and its not going anywhere.

I thought they were considered coils though and you're required to use at least one chain on the front and back?

DrtyDiesel Thanks this.
