Oh okay. I thought I read somewhere that on the front and rear you have to have two securement tie downs and one has to be a chain. Might have just been the customer I was at, they may have just required it that way

Ok, delivered to GP Jax and noooo mt's. So go to yard a few miles away, no mt's but there are a couple of loaded trailers. I really didn't think there would be. So here I sit to see what I get. Perhaps go back to check at GP again I suspect.

Screw that. Use straps. I don't use chains unless I have to. They are a pain to work with and can't be tightened en route unless you take the tarp off.

If I could throw chains on everything, I would. Haha not really, if its steel it gets chains unless shipper says otherwise and their way doesn't conflict with DOT.

I'm not sure what shocks me more, than Treefork can read or that he owns a book!

WOW, stunned! Makes sense why you're a trainer now.

lol. Here's a fun story. In 10th grade we had to log our leisure reading for English class. It was over the course of 6 weeks. At the end of that time we had to turn it in. Most people in the class had read like 500 pages or less over the course of 6 weeks, and the guy with the 2nd most pages read in the class had read 2,500 pages during that time. I had read just shy of 12,000 pages in that same time. So, yeah, I can read, and I own far more than 1 book. :)

At Ameristar, just north of the Gary terminal, blowin' my training money, waiting for my husband to come from WI to pick me up. My doctor sent in the paperwork I needed, finally, but royally messed it up. I'm just going to go home and make an appointment with him and have him fill it out right. I'll see if I can just wait until after Christmas to start with Roehl, and do the fast track training. I'm not in any rush, and this will guarantee I'm home for the holiday.
