Nude woman escapes Missouri trucker

LOXLEY, Ala. | A Missouri man has been charged in coastal Alabama with kidnapping a woman who was found nude and beaten inside his truck cab at a truck stop.
Roy Scott Stillwell, 47, of Hartville, Mo., was charged Tuesday after the woman used the truck horn to attract other drivers about 4 p.m. while Stillwell was inside Loves Travel Stop near Loxley.

The woman, in her 20s, apparently was kidnapped in Montgomery, but Baldwin County Sheriffs spokesman Maj. Anthony Lowery declined to release further details before a 1 p.m. bond hearing Wednesday.
Shes been through a horrible, tragic situation, Lowery said. Its likely that shes been in and out of the state several times.

Stillwell was held at the Baldwin County Corrections in Bay Minette.
At the Loxley truck stop, another truck driver heard the truck horn and called 911 when she spotted the woman, who had yellow nylon rope dangling from her naked and bruised body.
Federal authorities joined the investigation because the truck was involved in interstate travel.
Lowery said authorities also will look hard at the possibility that there are other victims throughout the country.

This is pathetic....he needs to be string up and deskinned...slowly.....it was not meant for ANY woman to be treated like this...I sure hope he gets what he needs....castration?????

Unfortunately, then when he gets turned loose, he'll be even more violent towards women.

One bullet, one kill. Nice and easy, even if it is a better death than this scumbag deserves.

And yes, thank god she was rescued. Reminds me of the case where the trucker had taken that woman hostage for a few months. She escaped by writing a message on a bathroom wall, that led cops to his truck.

Truely sad
That woman and her family have to deal with recovering from this crime forced on them for the rest of there lives. The worst travesty is any time that offender gets, will more than likely be spent perfecting his method of operation among other offenders.Where is the Justice ?

Trucker's 5-day trip of terror/UPDATE

BAY MINETTE -- Roy Scott Stillwell raped her in a North Carolina motel, authorities said. Then he headed for Texas.
En route to San Antonio the trucker accused of kidnapping a woman and keeping her bound and naked in his tractor-trailer cab stopped in Loxley, where he was arrested this week.
Stillwell, a 47-year-old with olive complexion, long black hair and a thick mustache, had been riding for five days throughout the Southeast, sporadically feeding the woman in his rig with scraps of his leftovers, according to Baldwin County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Tony Nolfe.
The 29-year-old victim, who stands about 5-foot-6, was found thin and dehydrated at the Love's Travel Stop along Interstate 10 on Tuesday afternoon when she wriggled out of rope tied to her wrists and began blowing the truck's horn, authorities have said. The rope around her ankles had to be cut off, Nolfe said.
Now, as authorities juggle with federal and state jurisdictions, they're piecing together new details about Stillwell and trying to learn even more about what he may have done.
"The question is what are you dealing with -- are you dealing with a serial rapist or are you dealing with a serial killer?" Baldwin County Sheriff Huey "Hoss" Mack Jr. said. "The ingredients are there for us to believe that this was not the first time. That's what concerns us."
