At the P-Lot in Gilman, IL. Heading to Shelbyville to pick up a trailer and then off to Port Allen, LA. The funny thing is I got this pre plan while my FM was at lunch. With some of the games she likes to play I am surprised I got to keep it.

So after I got empty in seelyville IN I waited 4-5 hours to dh 80 miles to a truck stop to meet a driver to relay a load back to Indy. He got there late, I had to tell him to send his empty call so I could get the info to send my messages b4 leaving. Got here late in which isn't my fault with no overnight parking. So ill run out of hours probably sitting here. I've forwarned dispatch and just going to hit I-65 x95 and find parking. 4 sort of big truck stops I should get lucky.

Apparently the other driver didn't have the hours to run the load as he told dispatch that. They said grab it anyway and run with it. Only for me to grab it late, deliver it late, and run out of hours for a 200ish mile load. Awesome

You should be able to find something at x95. It's Friday.

Got a load picks up tomorow. from about 35 miles in pa from the nj border all the way to edison nj i went into every truck stop and every rest area. no parking to be found anywhere. luckily the shipper has pvernight parking on the road next to it. i was worried aboit having to park on the road but there are at least six roehl drivers already parked and shut down before i got here. so no worries i guess.

I'm not on vans anymore, but I am having trouble dropping the 25 lbs I gained in 3 months. Winter flats isn't as conducive to weight loss as summer flats.

I've been avoiding the scale, but ended up on not one, but two, while doing Roehl's med stuff. I'm up 25lbs. I'm pretty mad at myself for allowing (er, causing) that to happen.

Driver we all have been there. You got to do what you have to do to. I was in the very same situation. I had to go pick up a load in Houston and run it to Fort Worth. I told dispatch I only have about 8 hours left on 14 and with any sort of delay I might not make it. They said you got plenty of time. Yeah ok. To get it done I had to bypass my fuel stop and join like 4 other trucks on the side of the road after I delivered because I was out of hours. Lucky for me it was a drop and hook.

Your right about that, we all have had to do that. Sucks but it's part of it! What I hate is when you sleep at a customer or even at some of these truck stops where your parked on a very uneven spot or area so every time you stand up in your truck you almost lose balance and catch yourself on your seat.

    Drives me bananas!

I hear ya, there is no consideration for the driver. All they see is time on ur clock and thats all. Nevermind its 9 at night in Jersey with 2 hours left. Like this load i had to pick up. One hour and 12 mins left on my 70. Go pick up now. Umm i have to drive on state highways and go through two towns not gonna happen tonight. No way to get loaded and park. I got the you have time. I just said no and we can explain it to the terminal manger how you are asking me todo something thats gonna cause a 70 hour log book violation. That was the end of it, fm said ok you can pick up in the morning. WTH! ! Anyways been recapping for several weeks now been on the road since the 17 th of November. Going home on the 21st lets see if i get there on time. I have been running every day and not one day off since i came out im tired lol!!
