Roehl Driver Check In

Just heard back from dispatch. all loads are already dispatched so wait for planner to come in and find u a new load. So lets recap. i have been sitting here for 32 ####### hours on this industrial road. i still have to wait for a new load. i probably am gonna get screwed out of detention becouse its not the shippers fault. My loaded miles was over 800 that i wont get now. The load was ####### light and easy.

 

I ran into that crap alot as van. Haven't ran into that onces as flatbed.


Sounds like you've been having a chitty trip out.

 

Shipper called me outa the blue and said he went through his files and found a load that wasnt picked up yesterday. i sent dispatch the number 2 hours later they sent me back a message that it was indeed a good pick up number. Gonna take this load after all. yay!!!!

 

Ive been moving constantly. but i have been in the northeast/mountains for almost a month. most my loads have been super heavy and most my routes have avoided interstates. so its been good and bad i guess. this load was gonna take me to IL where i live so i can dick around the area for a few days until home time.

 

Delivered slinkies in Risingsun, OH then made it to Husky truck stop (large parking lot, plenty of spots at least on Sat/Sun) in Windsor, ON yesterday afternoon. Reset and layover then pickup in Harrow tomorrow morning. Then deliver Chicago Tues morning.

 

Still at the pilot in Alabama outside of talladega, still no load yet.

 

Still in Palatka. Just called was told it was being loaded, call back in an hour or two.

 

That's crazy man. When I was in the van division palatka gp was my load out of the house, never had a problem. Hope you're out if there soon. If I was home I'd invite ya over for supper and video games haha

 

At least you got a 34 in, it sucks on how you got it but now your FM "should" get you some good miles since you got so many hours to work with now.

 

At Cash's Truck Plaza in Port Allen, LA. I got a pre plan for tomorrow. After I deliver at 0500 I assune I will be heading to GP in Zachery to pick up a trailer and delivering in Gulfport, MS. It isn't much but at least I don't have to wait for my FM to come in to get something.
