I'm hoping the same is true for the NE Regional area. :)

I doubt you will get that many miles in the Northeast..I've been in this area along time and it's hard to get anywhere quick.

    But you never know.

    Good luck!

    JohnnyC Thanks this.

How are you guys on W11 doing 3000 mile weeks? The only time I see that kind of mileage is when I leave the region. There seems to be an abundance of these crappy 300-400 mile loads out of LA. Then I get sent right back to just get another.

My loads usually range from 800-1500 miles. Last week I did 3360 miles in 7 days, and one of the days was only 230 miles in 10 hours of driving due to having to chain up for about a 120 mile stretch.

Also burnt up my 70 so I had to take a restart, which was perfect because after my restart I had a spare hour before my delivery appointment

Folks, I'll be joining the NE Region on Dec. 31. Orientation will be at the Carlisle facility. If the check ride goes well - and I don't see why it shouldn't - I should be dispatched within that same week, God willing (after all, I've got bills to pay). I'd be more than glad to meet anyone while at Carlisle, if possible. See you on the road. For now, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from me and mine to you and yours.

    Be safe.

I am currently trying to decide between NE Regional out of Carlisle and OTR. The pay plan for NE seems to favor a lot of short runs and sitting and I am not big on either. My wife left it up to me although I know going over the road will be hard on us. The basic mileage pay is the same except when you add in the short runs but at 2500 to 3000 OTR versus 1800 for regional the OTR pay is a lot more. The OTR listing stated 5 days in a 28 day period is that after 28 days or during ? Are OTR drivers forced into NY city ? I posted that question to my recruiter and he is slow to respond. Any input from Schneider drivers from either group would be appreciated, thanks.
