You was probably a company driver for 30 years. I plan to make something out of it other than just drive for a company.

You don't sound very sure about teaming. So with that said I would find another trucking job because chances of you and your team mate making it work may be slim and chances of you staying with this company is just as slim.

Im not gonna stay USX 4ever just to get some time under my belt and learn the industry and everything. Duh I don't sound to sure about teaming cause I don't wanna team but if I have to to some time under my belt I will. Plan one venturing off and try to start my own company after a couple years of driving, that's how ima make something out of it. I must admit I've been drinking the kool aid lol ima doc my success on here so you all can read and learn from the best lol hell I might even hire some y'all or your kids one day.

Yaa..... Good luck with that. Anyone wanna take bets on how long he lasts? Giving 4:1 odds, not past training, 3:1 not past upgrade, 4:1 not past 8 weeks with a team. 1:1 not past orientation. Place your bets, and grab your popcorn. ;-)

Wow, why the hate? The people who make it in this business are the ones who suck it up and get the job done without whining. You sound like one of the "drivers" sitting in the terminal and blaming everyone else that your life sucks. I would take his attitude over yours any day.

With that Attitude you'll be fine. Truck Driving is not an easy Life Period but a good Attitude helps. It is what it is.

Thanks somebody on my side lol they hating for no reason. My dad been driving 15 years and every summer since i was in middle school i would go the whole summer so i pretty know what to expect and im going in knowing there is going to be times when you sit and sit and sit waiting on loads waiting to get unloaded and all that. He probably the driver that though its a cake walk and you get all the miles in the world. You got to show your dispatcher your welling to run your ### off and get them loads there and he/she will look out for you. Its funny they tried to down me for reason so that let's me know that they aren't happy with themselves.
