Where is everyone?

White Haven,Pa. Had a HOT load from Fargo to NJ, then the prick at the landfill said he couldn't be bothered getting someone to unlock the gate for me so I can park there. I then told him "I'll see you sometime Monday then". Seems he is in a mad rush for these wheels, just cant be bothered doing anything himself for it. Screw 'em, I'll make em wait till late morning now. Love the East coast....

If it does not mess with your next pickup, show up at 4:30 Monday and see if he takes them then..
Had a customer in Rockford tell me yard man goes home at 3 pm. Ok see you in the tomorrow. I show up at 2:45 the next day.
Tey go where have you been. Sitting at the trkstp.. Why did you wait. Well I would of got there at a little after 3 yesterday and you said yard man goes home at 3.
So you better hurry before he goes home today. Well you offload the load.. Nope driveable unit it's yours you take it off..
They were not happy

 

Yeah they were stressing all about it on Friday, they were even on the fone to Cat where I loaded them at. Every 2hrs for the previous 3 days!
I call Friday to get directions and see about parking etc. He says he will get a guard to meet me at a gate so I can park there etc Sunday night.
Call Saturday with an update (receivers idea) and he said he can't be bothered giving up his day off, so I parked shortly there after and had an easy night.
Screw 'em. Never ran into this before, if it's hot, it's hot. If they cant be bothered having someone unlock a gate then relock it, I can't be bothered driving on and risking not finding a place to park down in NJ.
I am reloading Tuesday 1st thing in Baltimore, otherwise I would be having a relaxing morning here at the truck stop!
Did everyone a favor coming out here, got a feeling it's gonna bite me in the ### though.

Dallas South TA, doing laundry... going to be interesting. I sat at the dealer Friday into Saturday, by company direction, then they couldn't find anyone to authorize the expense on the weekend... so I sauntered on down to the TA....they can fix it during the weekday then, and pay more for the truck to sit, it ain't moving this time until it's fixed.

Oh yeah, at the safety meeting I had to listen to that was recorded, the director of safety was crying about driver's not reporting needed repairs and how they can't fix what they don't know about.... Yeah, right.

 

ft stockton tx for the night. gotta deliver in houston on tuesday. wondering if anyone knows of any good places to stay in houston or close by. deliver on walliville rd and know theres a loves there close but dont know how big it is or how hard it is to get into at night. any help?
