HEST indicator

Yea. Might get it checked cuz its not working right if u have to do a force regen

 

My father stuck on highway because of this regen thing. Just got 2009 columbia a week ago.
I hope this will save some time to other people.
From manual:

You have 1 (one) hour after DPF lights up to perform regen before engine shut off.
Here is video explaining how to perform regeneration diesel particulate filter (DPF)
1 Engine on Low idle
2. Neutral
3. Parking ON > OFF > ON
4. Clutch Press > Release (Automatic put to D > neutral)
5. Press and Hold DPF switch to ON for min 5 sec
You will see RPM go high once regen starts and go back to low once finished. Some lights may be on during, but should go off by the end.

 

Do i have to wait for the hest light to go off , after the regen light goes off?

 

If you guys are getting it done for 400, we are getting screwed. It runs 1000 bucks here, but only one place to get it done too.
