I actually did a MAC 30, and was offered three from the same shipper in York, one going to ATL, and 2 to IA, Dollar General for Weds, 0700, pu at 1430, that was not going to happen, and one for del at 1100, 42K in the box. I took it, only because it was getting me off the east coast. Was suprised that after pplan sent, it is a live unld.

Dwight & Church going to Dollar General in Maquokata? .. Sometimes DG will let you unload early the night before ... plenty of parking on the street there if they don't.
-
Ah yes, Dollar General. Hauled 2 loads for them (1 as a company driver/1 as an O/O) and they SCREWED ME on both. Not gonna get a 3rd chance. If I Mac 30 a load and it's going to DG I'll refuse to accept it.

At the Salt Lake terminal. Waiting to hear from my DM whether I can t-call my load or not. I'm taking the delay in answering as a NO, but it doesn't hurt to wait. My truck is due a b-service, may unhook from my trailer and head over to the TA in Toole.

Back from the TA in Toole, got the Ultimate PM.
Winter weather has definitely arrived in Salt Lake City! Been blowng HARD all day (frontal passage), temperature dropping, starting raining, and I'm sure the promised snow will arrive later tonight. I'm hoping that my afternoon delivery will give the storm a chance to blow through and for the roads to be cleared before I venture out in it tomorrow. -
Here in Breezewood. I was wrong. Going to the Family Dollar, and they will not unload early. I think that they allow through the gate iup to 1 hour prior to appointment. What I thought was going to be a easy day turned into a PITA thanks to CSR. Showed up at my first stop this morning, and they were like, we did not know that you where arriving today. They had to arrange for a JER-DAN to come over since they have to docks. That took 1.5 hour. Then on top of that, CSR set it up on the Load Assignment, noon for the final. Now fugure, first stop supposedly at 8 and the final 221 miles away, through DC and Baltimore. Had to do a MAC 22 and call in, and my DM could not even figure why they would set up a noon final, especialy when it said right in the assignment, FCFS, 0700-1600. Thank you CSR.

Memphis trmnl getting that frustrat ing idle proble fixed, and waiting for my t call to arrive. Tommrrow heading on up to IN for 14:00 delivery on the 19th. Giving me to much time on these loads lately, but I'm not complaining. Four days away from going home to watch my daughter open her presents for chritmas.
