Thanks Lady K and Passion...question...Carl - who? (last name). I have been in touch a bit with Jeff Reynolds (sp last name?) - I understand he is over Driver Services. He had mentioned a 'Wally'? at one point. Haven't talked with him today - plan on doing so.

I agree, it is on how I react and handle this...I could cry and go home or work through this. I'd rather work through this as I came into this wanting to work and not take the scenic route to the 99...if you know what I mean. Thanks Again!

 

Just read about the sexual discrimination suit against central in the ooida magazine. Not good but I'm sure there will be a payoff before it goes to court.

Rolling into Massachusetts tomorrow. Very glad to be away from the West! I escaped the snow by about one hour Saturday morning in Wisconsin. Nothing exciting going on. I'm out of ham and need a WalMart stop. Last time I did that up north though, a pack of smokes was $12! So, I'll wait until I find out where to next. Oh, I found out a slow leak in your glad seal will prevent the trailer bags from inflating. I stopped and was sitting on my tires. It looked like a Central low-rider. Replaced the seals and voila! I almost felt smart until I realized I don't get paid for seals...

 

I seen that, Has anyone else been following this lawsuit?

I do believe they are trying to keep this one on the down low. If any females are considering going to central you need to read about this suit.

 

This suit is about contractor status vs. employee status...it only is applicable to folks that have leased on with Central... However I think there is another one re: harassment... And Central isn't the only one with one of those.
