I am certain there is a thread on this however a few spots would be:
www.internettruckstop.com ( $45 / month )
www.getloaded.com ( $35 / month ) Probably not worth it IMO as many loads are similar to Internet Truck Stop
www.landstarbroker.com ( Free )
http://www.dispatch.bnsflogistics.com/static/map.html ( Free )
www.tql.com ( Think you have to be set up but free after that )
I am sure more exist however this should get you started...best of luck. -
Google the internet many small brokerages have loadboards. Get set up with larger carriers, they don't always have loadboards but usually someone you can call or email in logistics who offers up available loads... Pretty much every carrier out there with contract freight will partner with independents to help cover overages.

Farmer John has loads you can bid on, Vienna Sausage. You have get this lined up first.

sammys, in addition to what Marlin posted. Try,
xpresstrax.com (free)
spi international transportation's site under "carriers" has a free loadboard
123loadboard.com ($35-$45 per month)
You can also look into getting OOIDA membership & a discounted monthly fee to their mymembersedge.com load board.
Good luck.
