I bought my first when I was 19. Insurance is a killer I was paying 22k a year after 6 months the rate dropped but still hard to cover sometimes

 

There is a trucking company down close to Cleburne that often has a sign out wanting CDL drivers. Since they are local, you may check with them. There are oil wells being drilled all around your area, especially in Johnson County. Do you already have your CDL?

 

Be cautious with excavating companies, it can be a feast or famine business. If they don't get a contract you will sit but still have to pay your finance payments and insurance.
