No need to be insulting. You're the one that got lost... not a good sign.

I went with prime to get my CDL and after I did my so called finisher "Mark Beil" was lazy and a new driver himself...The first trip with him from Springfield,MO to Monroe,LA Mr. IM your trainer was burning our brakes up in Arkansas...Having been a new driver I didnt know much...Now I look back at it and laugh...Prime has good and bad Trainers/Finishers like all companys...A word of advice to any new/fresh driver...anytime you and your trainer/finisher come to a shipper/reciever/drop yard and backing needs to be done...you need to make sure you demand to do it...the more the better...Ive been out here over 6 years now and even then youll find a hole you cant hit, tight truck stops are the worst...When your trying to back ANYWHERE and another driver is riding your behind or right on your tail cause hes in a hurry...OOPS isnt that to bad...Now im not getting out and looking once Im getting out looking every foot I back...Dont let another ignorant driver make he tear off Mr. 379 Peterbuilt's chrome bumper cause you didnt get out and look...Just remember GOAL and when the other driver wants to rush you SLOW

I don't get people like that guy. We have a thread going on (Prime Drivers) and some moron wants to walk into the conversation and spout off stuff that doesn't even pertain to him, nor does he have a clue about what he's saying. I've been on here for a while now (read mostly), but see these types come strolling in spouting off.....I'd really like to see them in person (face to face) and see how they handle themselves? I'm SURE they won't be so abrasive in person.....I've noticed a lot of keyboard commandos on this board and most of the time I laugh because I know for sure they would not spout off in a personal setting, face to face......mostly because they would get knocked out faster than they walked in....haha!!! Too Funny!!

A lot of guys wanna spout off without having the facts so I wanna ask you about the pay over there. I know you get 600/wk or 12/c a mile if you are over 5k miles in a week. How many times did you and your trainer actually break the 5k mile mark in a week?? I hear that it never really happens and that you get 600/wk most every week

It just depends on freight. In '07 it happened about 4 times during my training - some folks posting here this year have said it's been more frequent. Remember... that's TRAINING pay. Considering the part of the freight cycle we're in, I'd guess that most folks would be getting the $600 until spring produce starts kicking in.

I thought their training program was 6 months with a trainer (that is what their website and other drivers say)
