Where is everyone?

took load too saint Joesph mo , drove thru iowa, south of des moines a 4 mile wie band of snow, get to st jo, thunder boomers and loud lighting unreall then snowed over night on top of freezing rain made delivery , then reload out of st joe took 3 days too do all that , then head too Washington, ia too make deliver ,then too mount pleasant , Iowa, too reload ,then took that back too yard,too deliver wed morn,i algona, Iowa leave out tue afternoon

 

At home for Christmas. I get a whole week off and already loaded ready to go!

 

Gotta call this morning, looks like I am going to Artesia NM the day after Xmas. I could not turn down the rate. But is 63000 lbs

 

The wife and I went to see "This is 40" and it was hilarious. We then went downtown and got some hot chocolate and walked around all the downtown shops and I found my way into the Jewlery store and found myself looking at Rolex watches. Needless to say, she brought me back down to reality.... and I thought I was looking at the "moderatly" priced ones with the leather bands, till the sales guy told me it was $8,500. I turned to the wife and said "that's a lot of fuel and a new set of tires"

All in all, it's been some nice hometime. We are getting ready to head out to dinner with friends and have X-Mas parties for the next 3 days lined up, so I'm sure I will be eating off the salad bar once I hit the road again.

 

At home getting things ready to go fishing in the morning.

I'm loaded for Gillette leaving Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.

 

you are one lucky guy shc.... i dont have a wife or gf to deal with so that part isnt bad but your lucky you found one who puts up with it. just when i feel down cause i cant be home i get out of the truck and realize i drive a brand new 2012 kw that has everything on it i could possibly want and realize im pretty lucky. besides gotta sacrifise i guess... Flagstaff, AZ at the peelot for the night. sure is chilly, glad i got an apu

 

is it just me or does SHC live the truckers dream?lol

 

Started my day in Sulphur Springs, Arkansas with only 11 hours and 16 minutes on-duty time available. Put 627 miles behind me in a 65mph truck...only stopped once for fuel. Glad I know a shortcut around the bridge construction on I-40. What a long day, fixin to hit the hay in Mount Vernon, Illinois.

home for christmas leave wed morn for al.then pa.loving the home time. we just got our grandaughter living with us makes the holidays all the better.my wife also said if i wasant able to be here that would be ok but already had decied that would not happen even if i had to deadhead but they got me home no prob.life is good
