Sleeping in a moving truck takes a lot of getting used to. At first I was getting very little sleep and hitting the rumble strip a lot. Eventually you become accustomed to it. You will get annoyed by your co-driver, there's no way of getting around that, when you're cooped up with someone constantly every little thing will get to you. You just have to remind yourself that you're probably annoying them as much as they're annoying you.
TRKRSHONEY Thanks this. -
You can come drive with me if interestedu

I tried driving team ... lasted 2 months. It was like having a roommate in a studio apartment, my team mate and I got along great as we were very much like minded however after 2 weeks I just needed my own space. I would highly advise against team driving for a new driver, as previously stated it takes time to get used to sleeping in a moving truck and being a new driver in my opinion that just adds to the newbie stress.

I started with CRST. They weren't that bad.

I know it's been awhile since this was asked but zI thought I'd answer in case anyone was looking at this thread for answers.
At CRST you go out with a trainer first, then go with a co-driver. The company gives you a list of possible co-drivers and you call around.
Since you are from CA you would do orientation in Fontana, CA. It would be a good idea to try and hook up with a co-driver while there, but remember they will probably be a newbie too.
Teaming is not for everyone. I love it, others hate it. Despite what some people say, I think it is a good experience for a newbie. -
I started out with werner but I went to driving school before signing on.Most companies check on your trainers before doing coeds.none of them want to hear sexual harrasment.good luck
