Yeah, and smoking cigarettes in your truck makes it stink too - but companies allow it so your concern is likely unfounded.
Although I'd probably pass on doing the bacon in the truck. Way too much splatter.
For cooking (couldn't figure out where to put this hope this is ok)

So how well would the coffee pot stay put while the truck is moving?
-
Well I hope someone else tries it out and lets us know how it works before I go out and buy 1
-
I wouldn't want to brew a cup while moving but just for general storage i'm going to use a Velcro gear strap from the camping supply stores though i imagine a small bungee would suffice.

every time i get mad at transam next truck I see has a cooler seat belted into the passenger seat
I remember to be thankful for my apu and 2500 watt inverter
that allows me everything i need to not pretend I am camping -
I like that. It looks like a Suzie Homemaker kitchen set. You can even make cookies to finish off the high cholesterol intake.
Every coffee maker I had was a wattage hog. I guess they can design a low powered one. -
Not all carriers allow smoking. BTW: That unit was only 5 or 600 watts. No way you will be making toast and coffeee at the same time. Reading the description the griddle does not have an element. It gets the heat via convection from the oven. Could take an hour to fry an egg. There are some other units on Amazon for around $70.00 that do have seperate elements.

takes about 15 min to do an egg while brewing coffee. I can post a video if you'd like. But your right it works through convection though the pan sits on top of the elements
