are you using a GOPRO for your videos?

 

I have a kinda off the wall question for you seasoned Schneider drivers, are noobs allowed to request a certain TE for training and any looking to take one on?

 

They usually try to pair one that lives closest to you in the event they or you need to be dropped off. Also, non-smoker or smoker is taken into huge consideration. My T.E. was cool, he said if he the choice I would be many of the few he would team with just because got along that well.

As for the video, I'm using a Drift Hd170 stealth, type it up on youtube. Its the underdog brand compared to Contour and Gopro...but its products really made some huge steps past go pro at an affordable price that neither gopro or contour cannot match.

 

When you use the Drift on your bike does it do a good job of canceling out the wind noise? I have a ContourHD that I use but it picks up so much wind noise that I have to turn the sound off on my computer when watching the videos. I'd like to leave it on so I can hear the motor as I'm shifting.

Also, what's the battery life like on it and can it be plugged in for power while it's being used? My contour only has about 90-120 minutes of battery life and the plug is under the dust cap on the back and it can't be plugged in and turned on at the same time.

I have both a contour roam and a drift. The drift has an external mic I use and tuck into my helmet cheek pad that muffles out alot of wind noise. The roam, I set the mic setting around 2-3 and it pics up noise but its less sensitive so it won't be screaming in your ears when you watching the vids.
