Hey folks! I've graduated from TDI in Sanford! This was a 3 week school and for the past 2 weeks I drove at least an hour to 2 hours a day on the road. I passed my state test but I still don't feel strong on driving and maneuvers. What is going to happen when Stevens flies me into Dallas? Is there additional training provided or what happens?

First of all... Stevens is not going to fly you into Dallas... think Greyhound...

Second, you will go out with a trainer for 5 weeks, then you will go out with another student for 3 weeks, then you will.do at least 90 days in grad fleet...

    Pretty thorough training.

I already talk to someone at Steven's. They'll reimburse up to $200 for flying. I won't be taking no bus!

I too graduated from TDI. Believe me, it is kind of scary on your first time. You will probably be with a trainer. Now is the time for you to work on your skills. Don't push yourself too hard and listen to the trainer.

Thanks everyone! It's just a shame that I have to wait so long. I'm afraid of what I don't use, I'll lose. I don't have money to rent a truck. Should I pick up my HazMat before I get to Dallas?

They will reimburse the cost of the bus ticket... up to $200

If the greydog costs $130... that is what they will give you. You should also double check that this is a true reimbursement and not an advance. It was an advance for those who went to school in Dallas, not sure about the OR1 students
