Just west of Indy, about 18 miles from final. As soon as mt, put this girl in the wind and head home. Now just hoping that the snow storm that we might get on Wednesday does not happen. Will really mess up home time and all that I need to get done before the Jan 1.
Good night from...

Home for the holidays ... Merry Christmas. Stay safe out there.
fr8monkey Thanks this. -
Home for Christmas only, finally, at least 4 hours later than planned, thanks to CSR for incorrect delivery info. Deliver at 0700, do not be early, arrive and already two other Swift trucks there, from the night before, then check in and get told, no appt, FCFS, and not start to receive until 0800. Just have to love it.
To all, have a very Merry Christmas and a New Year. See you back out there again after Christmas and before New Year. -
I was on home time to see my girls, a combo birthday and Christmas present for me and all of them.
We had a great time. I brought my sister out from MN, as she hadn't seen them for a couple years. My oldest younger daughter is going to live with my oldest older daughter in Sacramento, so this was the last time Laura could be with all of the little ones for some time.
Treated them all to Boondocks Fun Park.
If you haven't been there you really need to schedule a trip. It has mini-golf, race cars, bumper boats, video games, laser tag, a complete bowling allie, food and prizes.
And you won't spend more than $200-300 for 5-7 people - doing everything and eat!
I'm a bit west of OK city now, on my way to the Salt Lake City area.
GRRrrrrr!!!
I've been trying to get a load to a terminal (or near enough) that has a simulator, because I need the class to stay off safety hold.
That happens on the 26th.
I turned down 2 pplans this morning, and spoke to my DM about it. He messaged the planners.
What do they send me?
A load going to Salt Lake, and there is no simulator there. It delivers on the 27th.
My DM said to Qcom him on Wednesday to remind him, and he'll make some calls to try and get me off safety hold until I can get to the correct terminal.
I hate those sim classes. Playing a video game is not in the least like driving.
And I especially hate it when planners will not get me to where I need to be for the stupid things.
I get message after message saying that I need it, and when I send messages and refuse pplans to get me there, they are simply ignored. -

FatDaddy Thanks this.

I'm hoping the 'gods' are wrong.
I'm mainly on back roads to SLC. Going on US 6 into Salt Lake, and I doubt the roads will be that wonderful.
Oh well, if I have to shut down to avoid chaining, I will.
