I contacted werner and filled out a app about 2 weeks ago, they called to go over it but had to fax them a paper stating my license was never suspended and they still haven't contacted me again. What's up with that. I called and called and called and still nothing only voicemail. I understand its the holidays but if you say you will call by friday then ###### call by friday. Im tired of waiting but would like to start with this company to get my feet wet. I need some advise from werner drivers or hell any driver, when should I try calling back giving that its christmas today and they are probably on a break for a couple day, or are they?

seems to me you should take this as a red flag warning...
If they cant even fulfil a promise to make a call back just what else do think they wont fulfil...
just saying...read between the lines here

Well, give them a day or two more. They badgered me for weeks after I applied with them. If they are interested, you WIll hear from them. If you don't hear in a couple days, move on. Plenty of companies hiring.

    Rollin_18 Thanks this.

Yea im looking at it that same way landshark but i got a 15 over just about 3 years ago and im think werner is the only ones that will hire me but i have other apps i with covenant and USX and ima try super service when i graduate since they dont do pre hires. The only thing with USX is they are trying to be a team company from what i understand. I had to sign a paper saying i would team for 6 months. Dont really know much about covenant. Im just trying to get my foot in the door and move on to better once i get some time on me

I don't know if you want to do flatbed but you may want to look at valley transport out of Ashland Ohio not far south of Cleveland.

Try applying at some trucker job boards. They have some out there where you fill out one app and it gets sent to many companies AND you can choose which companies get is and which ones don't.

I say that because I know how much it sucks to fill out online apps. I would rather do it one time and have it over with
