Roehl Driver Check In

Was this meeting mandatory because I didn't go to it and I won't be back out until 2 Jan. Then again my FM usually makes some noise about if you haven't been to it yet and she hasn't said anything about it. Bayle, if my FM does the presentation you can forget about getting a word in because she isn't going to let you (This is what I was told by another Driver) He said he actually felt sorry for us! Lol!

 

Mandatory as far as I know if you want safety bonus. I think it's given at all terminals one in the morning and one in afternoon.

 

Stopped for breakfast and supplies at T/A I84 NY. Can see snow coming overcast and has that chill in the air. Will have to send message to FM as a heads up and keep updated if it gets too bad.

 

Well, I passed my road test at the company I applied for. I'll be starting January 7th.

Gonna call today and give my two week notice. Only problem I'll run into is if they have me turn the truck in at Gary.....Not sure how I'll afford to get home.

 

Ask to turn the truck in at Ellenwood, and be prepared for them to send someone to get it from you while your home, or they will have you drop it early insted of you working out your notice.

I will, Im going to tell my dispatcher today and go over options on turning the truck in. I need to turn it into ellenwood, it'll cost me a fortune to turn it in at gary and drive a rental car all the way back to florida.
