    There is no Federal or DOT regulation that prohibits it just because it is a CMV.

    However,there may be State or Local regs that do.

    it would be nice to have a DOT person here who actually KNOWS their stuff

    but it would be an unending job, but considering you have old, new, smart, dumb, and everything in between here, it would have to be a $100k job
