Before going into trucking, wait at least SIX more years, (till January 2019), staying TOTALLY and COMPLETELY 100% drug and alcohol free as of today, for the rest of your life. In the next SIX years, get both as physically fit and nutritionally fit as possible. Rid your body of as much impurities as possible with both intense physical exercise, proper eating habits, and drinking enormous amounts of water and herbal teas to flush your body of all impurities, which will probably include drug residue.

I suggested SIX years because this will also give you much needed additional time to also maintain a CLEAN record, (MVR, credit report, legal matters if there are any, and all personal affairs). For you, the biggest task is to TOTALLY & COMPLETELY clean out your body and keep it that way!

In SIX years from now, you will be able to go to any trucking company of your choice and NOT have a single worry about any type of physical, physical fitness test, or any type of drug screening test at all. All the hard work that you did to cleanse yourself and otherwise prepare for driving a truck will be behind you.

God bless you and your family! God bless the U.S.A.!

Not a shred of factual information regarding BAC and CDL.

Sorry friend, go to trade school and learn a trade. The bottom feeders cant touch you. Even most of the little slumlord outfits wont be able to touch you. And that rare one that will hire you are ran by people that the US government had to pass child labor laws to protect children from.

    "Whats a slumlord company?"

Its one of those 1 to 3 truck companies where the owner tried to make maximum profit off minimum investment. Truck is pieced together with duct tape, AC and heat dont work, bald tires and recaps of different sizes, tire plug in a steer, water leak(s), a gear gone on the transmission. And the owner is so tight. He figures exactly to the mile how much fuel you need to make a run and gives exactly that. And money...you have to wait on him to get paid and that will mean you sitting and waiting for a load with absolutely no money in your pocket.

I reccommend finding another line of work. It will be better than working for a slumlord.

Buy a truck, get insurance under someone else name and start running. I don't think you stand a chance of employment under current circumstances but best of luck to you.

Sorry, I hit the '2' instead of '4'. So 'legally drunk' for a person with a CDL is 0.04%. Otherwise, my post is correct.
