yep, i got that now, what realy sucks is that i am looking to get a job there, not much of a choice for me, realy if i could find the guy who owned a truck company i worked for in 07, to verify me driving i could be driving yesterday with a fleet for a great company, i have done everything short of hiring a private eye, and i have contacted one who told me $1200 for 8 hrs worth of work and no gaentees, so i am in a bind, ...

 

Do I take that you(hurst) have decided to move on to something diiferent?? No more pretty truck pic??? If you got screwed over I'm sorry to hear that as you were the only one ever defending this place!! Keep in touch and let us know where you land!!!

 

Hurst, terminating a driver ( or the threat ) for refusing to run hot is nothing new. It's mostly a threat. Another favorites of mine is ( Well Johnny did it, last week, last month etc ) and I tell them that's fine, here's a quarter, call Johnny.

Divorcing a carrier is rarely pretty and that's mostly because of the cost to replace said driver ....and people do move on, that's a gimme. My irk is that carrier mgmt. doesn't get the why and fix it. They simply repeat the cycle as they have done for years and now... are accustomed to 100% turnover like their stuck with it. Simply amazing!

Do like you said and put his unit in a safe location, get your stuff out and tell him where it is. It appears the relationship is way beyond any negotiations so I wouldn't drive the unit anywhere. He may have called it in stolen out of spite. Just be sure you tell him where it is.......

Yes its true,.. no more pretty truck for me. How ever it was of my own personal doing. I quit and created a bit of drama in the process. Fear not,. now that I have had a taste of them (Pretty trucks), I dont think I could go back to driving old Macks and Autocars. I always land on my feet. "Ever see a duck who couldnt swim?"


Not my intention to come across as bickering,.. but then I suppose it is.
But you guys (Admins) have to admit how funny (And some how pathetic) it is for someone to do what he is doing.

I will leave it at that and hopefully this thread will die off as well.

 

Not sure if your current evens calender is up to date or not.
But truck was left in a very secure location, everything documented, pictures and video taken, got the security guard to sign off on it.

The marriage is certainly over. The divorce seems to be getting strange though. Its as though the 'Other Half' wants to steal my 'Friends' here and truth is,.. I have nothing but my character left to take. And well,... he cant have it.

I do now regret ever saying anything nice about that person. I wont make that mistake again.

I look forward to the new year. A couple beers and that sausage and bologna might sound appetizing.

Hurst hope things go well for you. You did create lots of drama. How long till qiuk delivery gets another screen name? And comes back for some more fun.

 

No idea,.. I will leave it alone if he does come back. I have said everything I have to say. Anything more would just be repetitive. If people want to judge me for what I did, well people are entitled to their opinions. I dont regret anything and look forward to a brighter and happier new year with my family and friends close at my side.

wonder whats up with the contract and whats the pay for the long runs and hours that require "editing"the logs?
he talks alot about stupid drivers damaging equipment. i wonder how much of the damage occurrred after exceeding 70 hours of service?
