A lil' outside your target areas but I know Auburn University has a good Supply Chain Management program...maybe check the Princeton Review search function for schools in the area you are looking for. Best of luck in your search!

Also check out Industrial Engineering/Systems Engineering programs. We do a lot of logistics based stuff as it relates to math and statistics.

Arkansas has one and so does Georgia Tech. Auburn had already been mentioned.

The University of Tennessee has one of the highest ranked Logisitics and SCM programs in the nation.

You don't need a CDL school to be a trucker and you don't need a logistics degree to be a middleman!

Michigan State University has the #2 ranked supply chain management program, according to U.S. News, behind M.I.T.
I have a logistics degree from Grand Valley State U.
Honestly, I don't think it is something that can really be taught in school. Anyone who has been out there in the real world in the industry will know more about "logistics" after six months than anyone who is sitting in a classroom.
Coming out of school, I didn't know much more about the industry than the average guy on the street. But it helped me get my foot in the door of the warehousing industry at a management level, so I guess it served its purpose. I am thankful for that.
