And that coop is a PITA if your OD! Sitting down in Russell Springs, KY. Was suppose to be here this morning but got really sick with the stomach flu so I shut down before I even made it to the shipper.

 

Well spent Christmas eve in the Twin cites. M<y dad happened to be in Rochester,so he came and had supper with me that night and stayed untill Christmas morning. Nice seeing him. Been a bit.
Then off to the airport..
Then the fun started. Checking in the computer says they might have over booked. Would you be interested in taking another flight?
Yes I answer and threw in the figure for being comped.
Then I stand in the long security line. 45 mins. Everbody sould have been where they needed. I mean this is Christmas day folks.
So then I having a coffeee and the gate people announce they are looking for vol. to take different flight.
I tell them I would, ok.. Hold tight.
Then as they get ready to board they say no we're good.
I heading towards the walkway when they page me..

Yes, I say let's play Monty Hall. The lady laughs. She says there is a family of 5 and some how dad did not get one of the kids seat assigned in time. I see they family and ask the dad, where are you going?
Singapore for holiday. I look at him and his family.. His wife is really loking worried. I sigh and say have a good holiday...I said my wife can wait another day. Then his wife says huh?
I told her one more day will not hurt me. Merry Christmas. Man I'm getting to be a soft touch in my old age.
Any how airlines put me up in a nice hotel. 30.00 in meal vouchers, plus 750.00 credit for my next ticket.
So I leave the next day. Got into Bangkok Thurs. night and wife was happy to see me.
Oh the weather is nice. 80 today at the house.. No snow/ ice or winds..
