I am so P/O. First day out off nice 7 days at home, going good. Then get to Birmingham and have too take AL5 to US 78 no big deal its raining outside so im being careful when a jack weed cuts me off hits his brakes to make a turn RIGHT in front of me. Guess what i had to do to keep from plowing into this idot. Yup hit the brakes quickly which in turn gave me that wonderful blinking red light. Now i get to hear about everything i should have been doing differntly. Son of ##### i felt like saying route me home im done. Ohh when i blew the horn at him i got to see that i was number one.

I don't know how your FM takes things, but just tell your story like I was driving and keep a safe following distance. Then I see this car come up and beside me and think nothing of it, there is plenty of room. Next thing I know he's cutting in front of me, clearly I don't want to hit him and I can't veer out of my lane due to the weather conditions. So I did what i thought was best and hit the brakes. I'm open to suggestions.

Then be prepared to hear increase your following distance while it's raining, expect the expected, look for your cross roads. Just be agreeable for that part and then mention again how you were cut off and did the best you could given your situation.

What Melton ^^ said. Always listen, take the standard BS that they will tell you with a grain of salt. If you were tailgating the guy or doing something stupid, then do as the FM says. If you were doing everything you could, then listen, say yes sir, and move on. It's not worth it.... TRUST ME! I'll give you my camera... That is what you get for arguing too much about those things.

Gosh, I hope you make it there on time. Heh. Can't relay that at all? How's Roehl on relaying loads with a way-too-far-out delivery date?
