They're usually pretty good, or they were. Utilization is always going to a popular metric for the company to track. If the wheels aint turning the company aint earnin'. I'm pretty sure Ray said something like that except for the part where he probably used proper english and spoke for 20 minutes on it.

My Fm told me my load sucks for the weekend but being it goes right by my house just spend the weekend at home. I dont have to deliver till the 2nd in Tioga nd a whole 900 miles to travel in 4 days.

I ussaly never have long layovers for the weekends, sometimes i do but mostly my FM is pretty good about relaying off short loads and getting me on something with some distance for the weekend. But the holidays kinda screwed me over this time around.

Ha! Not sure who Ray is, but I certainly can imagine since I've suffered through many a video and/or live speech in my time.

I-65 x something or another in evergreen al I think. I only glanced at my truck stop book. It's a loves off of US 84. It's raining and at night and it had parking so screw it I parked. They con I could've made it maybe. The con is a mud hole and the facilities there suck along with food and drink etc. Normally I would've pounded on through dropped and stayed at the con. Ill still get there early tomorrow no matter what, no Christmas bonus left a bad taste in my mouth still. Ech

Trucks all fixed up. New dash cluster installed and working like a charm.

Essentially my windshield leaked, got my dash gauges went which shorted them out. Cost of the new part was under $300, add on over night shipping, then labor at $150, then windshield resealed at $100. Came out of this pretty well! Freightliner of Jacksonville was trying to sell me the part for $900!! Just by going through Roehl I saved myself a huge amount of money. Looking at a 1100 dollar fix with the 900$ dollar part to maybe 600$? Take that any day of the week!!

I picked up a load on Thursday that delivered Monday. Relayed it last night in ellenwood and got a load from Madison, GA to Indiana for a Monday delivery. I don't mind short runs with a weekend to do it. I can take it slow.
For instance, I drove 63 miles today......to the shipper. Lol. I'm at the pilot truck stop right down the road from the GP I picked up from

Ah, for some reason I was thinking of the GP in Rincon GA. The pilot there has a Waffle House next door. Smothered and covered!

Interesting thing is another roehl was picking up at the same time as me going to the same place on the same day. He is relaying in appleton. They wouldn't let me relay.
