Got a message, auto reply i'm sure, to come in here and introduce myself so that's what i'm doing. I'm a 21 year OTR driving veteran that recently found the job of his dreams at a local community college as an instructor. Class room only, even i'm not conceited enough to think that I could handle the in-cab training stuff. But anyways, I joined TR so that I could give new people to the industry as well as veterans the wealth of BS and actual ussable knowledge that i've aquired over the years. Not looking for drinking buddies or anything just friendly conversation, or to answer questions from people new to the industry. I have no agenda, no ulterior motives. I was raised in a trucker family and still remember from back in the day when we were called the " knights of the road" instead of some of the more colorful adjectives used nowadays. I'm not affiliated with any company, this is just my personal way of passing on knowledge the way the older hands did when i was cutting my teeth in a big truck. God Bless and you drivers be careful out there on the road, get home safe to the family. Stay out of them ditches and keep the shiny side up !
