I am starting school on Monday December 31 2012. I am attending Transportation Training Center in Lebanon TN. If anyone has attended this school let me know.
I am changing careers and looking for any and all information from drivers
about truck driving.
I have been reading everything I can find here on the internet about truck driving. I am looking for any information that I may have missed.
I have decided that flat bed is where I am wanting to go. I am well aware that there is a lot more work to this.
I have been looking at a few companies.
TMC
Boyd Bros.
McElroy
Huff and Puff

Here are a few more flatbed or have flatbed divisions:
System Transport
Melton Truck Lines
Maverick
ATS
Western Express
Schneider
Hoge Motor Company in Springfield
Falcon
Averitt
I've done flatbedding & liked it. Best advice I will give right now is, apply to all companies that interest you, even if they say they require experience, apply anyway.
This company in Lebanon has an ad to apply online for students; Interstate Distributor. It's dry van though.Last edited: Dec 29, 2012
