Still at the homefront. Sent a nice pplan yesterday, but when saw what it was, had to refuse. PU today in Grove City today and deliver in China, CA on the 31st. It was a team load, and the last time that I was at this shipper, they put me through a ringer just to pu it up and t-call in St. Louis. Wasted almost 2 hours there. Talked to my DM yesterday about it and he remembered when it happened to me, so now, still waiting for a load and being the holiday weekend, who knows, especially since I refused that load, even though I was not able to pull it.

Phoenix, AZ.
I deliver tomorrow morning at 0500, then take a sim class the next morning. -
Edwardsville, KS... First time here... Big terminal. Keep getting the same load up on Mac 30, not sure I have enough hours left to complete it... Brings me home... Ugh, This is why I dislike the 70 limit
-
Well, if you accept it and it turns out you're short on hours it will mean a service failure.

At the Petro in N Las Vegas. Left Phoenix yesterday with a load of cotton bails that I delivered in Bakersfield this morning. Then picked up a pre-loaded trailer from the IKEA DC headed for the south side of Denver. Traffic was so nasty leaving Calif that I gave up on trying to make it to the TA I like in Parowan, UT. Gonna take it easy tomorrow and head for the truck stop I like on I-70 just east of Grand Junction, then do the final 230 miles on Monday morning for my 11:00 am delivery.
Why oh why is there a firm appointment for a drop? Dispatch also stated that I MUST pull an MT out and if IKEA doesn't have one I'm to wait til they do. EXCUSE ME! -
You'll see why when you get there. About 6 Swift trucks will be delivering. First one drops in door 1 and takes an MT out of door 2, second truck drops in door 2, takes MT out of door 3 and so on. Everything is scheduled, what load will be going into what door.SteveH85396 Thanks this.

Well it's better than drop your trailer, pull out the mt, hook back up to and dock the loaded, then hook back to the mt.
fr8monkey Thanks this. -
me and mentor pick up cotton bales out of casa grande yesterday and delivered at probably same place you did this late morning.
-
When you do this, send a message to your DM saying you had to spot a trailer to get yours in, it involves an extra drop and hook. Mine always paid $10 for that. DM doesn't need to know that it is your future empty.
Don't connect the pigtail and tell them it was another companies trailer.Moosetek13, ucallihaul and fr8monkey Thank this.
