1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Unfortunatly the insurance companies control this industry, but it depends on how bad and how recent.(I'm not asking, I'm just sayin)Some of the bigger carriers are self insured and have a little more wiggle room MVR-wise. Might want to check Craigs-list under transport jobs,

More information on the type of driveing job you are looking for would be helpful. Local, OTR, what experience you have, those kinda things.

Your local T/S will have a board or something (pamplets) with the carriers that normally hire out of your area. The web is a good place to start.

Most carrier's will allow 2-3 moving violations within the last 3 years. If you have more, then it may be difficult to find a good carrier.

In the meantime, I'm sure there's a dockworkers job or fast food job available somewhere. I understand it's not ideal and sometimes even embarrassing, but it sure as hell beats losing your house or not being able to feed/cloth your family.
