I have heard a lot of stories from jetdri washwashers soap to peeing in your windshield. What do you do and does it work, Some of the scariest times I have had driving have been in whiteout freezing conditions peering out through a clear spot the sie of a cigarette pack. Well What works?

Haven't found anything. Once the Wipers push Ice around only thing I have found is clear them off.
Can't reccomend it but if you have a Squeege or something you can try hitting them while you are driving.
Have seen some heated Wiper Blades but they weren't cheap.
There is a company that makes a Vibrator/Shaker for Wipers.
Wipershaker.com doesn't have pricing on theSite. -

Pour a little alcohol into your washer resovour. It will prevent the fluid from freezing and help minimize the ice build up on your windshield. You may also cleaning your windshield and putting some wax or some of the Rain Ex (?). It will help prevent ice from sticking.

you either keep the windshield so cold nothing will melt, or if it's that warm out, keep it so hot EVERYTHING melts.
Take your pick.
Either way, you WILL be having to reach out and snap the wipers or else stopping if your arms are not long enough to clear it off.
Most times, I crack my window and keep the windshield that hot. -
Yup. Running a winter blade also helps, as the snow & ice cannot accumulate inside the blade's frame.

I have issues with blades floating with a winter blade.
Dieselwrangler Thanks this. -
I've always dreamed of a windshield that has 5 or 6 of those rear window heat lines in it. All the way around the perimeter of the glass. Just on the edges I think that would help.
But what do I know, nothing so I keep an ice scraper in the drivers door for the winter months. lol -
Don't drive in the ice and snow is the most sure and best way. I suppose that goes without saying, but I felt compelled.

I use the rainx blade and -35° deicer window wash. If you do get a ice buildup use the window wash and it will melted right off. It's the best system I have found.
