So I've called about 10000000 times in regards to reporting the trucks/trailers for Cali carb reportings. No one ever picks up because im assuming theyre all "busy" with other callers. Can someone please clarify for me if I need to report my new trailers for GHG Complaince? Or is it just OLD-er trailers that need the kits or phase in option reported? Here's what I've got:
Small fleet (2 trucks, 2 trailers all rolling in and out of California)
1) 2012 Wabash Dry Van 53'
2) 2011 Wabash Dry Van 53'
Already reported my 2003 T600, MUST I report my 2013 t700 even though it's new?
The deadline I believe is tomorrow but who knows if they will add another deadline?

Dutches links oughta do it for ya. The trailers ain't a problem as they are not refers.
Yer 03 is a problem as is my 04. The 2013 isn't a problem.
Yer 03 can be apportioned in CA, but ya can't report any miles in that state for 2013 unless it's been modified and cleared by CA.
Basically unless you have a small fleet waiver or the mods. for the 2003,,,it's NOT legal in CA.
What I've been told thru the company I'm leased to, is that CA will be checking at the ports and bug-stations come Jan, 1.
The fine is $1,000.00 a day for non-compliance. -
I reported the 2003 kenworth and got the extention certificate printed; the trailers do not have side skirts or the tires ghg is requiring..

I guess I wouldn't wory much about the trailers skirts or lack there of.
What I know is that my 2004 isn't legal in CA after the 1st.
Thats about all I know,,,and about all I need to know...that, and the fine is BIG, and theyre gonna be checking.
When California starts buying my trucks and tires,,,they can tell me what to run...til then,,,they can kiss my butt!Last edited: Dec 30, 2012

Good one, BDP is hoping rates will increase as capacity decreases. And we have already seen that with reefers.
The Megas that typically keep equipment that would be compliant have been switching lanes west for over a year now.
Who thinks rates West of OKC are going to continue to tank as this goes further and further down the road. Unless you are taking a load west.
