I'd want 5-6 grand to drive someone else's truck 10,000 miles.

 

To get me to drive someone elses truck,,,itud take alot more than that!

 

Why? That would be 50-60% so if they were getting a dollar a mile he'd be getting $.50-.60 cpm. That seems decent.

 

Because I don't drive someone elses trucks...ever!,,,and you know that ain't how it is. Nobody except maybe JBH can run a truck for a buck a mile gross, then pay a driver 50-60% of the gross. Even they can't do that. Fuel and fixed costs alone cost alot more than a buck a mile. You knew that I'm sure.
I just thought he was kidding and so was I, but to be honest,,,it would take alot more than that to get me to drive someone elses truck.

What kind of $$$ do your van drivers make cpape?

 

I don't believe they have vans fella. They are platform/OD.

 

We have vans and they are 4 cents less a mile then the open deck guys.

 

We are not affiliated with the Pape Machinery companies. If you look closely they have an accent over their e. They pronounce it pa-pay. Ours is pronounced like paper but without the r on the end (payp). We have delivered to their Deere dealerships before.
