I agree. I've seen far worse.

Imho, not harsh enough. this industry has its reputation in the toilet because of large revolving-door turnover training companies like crst. It's time they get brought down.
TruckerOllie Thanks this. -
just a little bit of rage here, I'm thinking. Have a bad experience did we?

i really what would happen if these megas were shut down
outside of P&G, Kraft, Nestle, Cargill and those major corporations that need 1000 trucks a day, no one would miss them
rates would go up, pay would go up
imagine, each driver has his own truck and is treated like a valued commodity instead of toilet paperTruckerOllie Thanks this. -
It will never happen...

My fiance just started back with CRST Malone division. He is in the lease purchase program and just signed his contracts at the end of October. In december, they sent out a new contract saying that he had to sign it and return it by January 15th. There are TONS and TONS of changes in this contract and he does not want to sign it. We are currently looking for an attorney to review all of this and possibly take action if CRST happens to put him on stop dispatch or anything else for not signing the contract. They also sent it out to a few other drivers that we are aware of. His dispatcher or no one else has actually said anything to him about this contract so far. The odd thing is that it states the contract between him and CRST Malone ends April 1st of THIS year. He wont have his truck paid for until July of next year. So we are really trying to find a lawyer that will handle this and at the same time not charge $10,000 retainer. As I am sure most of you are aware, rates for CRST Malone are low right now, so he is working like crazy and not bringing home what he really should. If someone could please let me know of a good lawyer I would appreciate it. We are located in Georgia, but if there is a lawyers office/group that handles across the United States that would work too. Thanks!

As much as I dislike them (for other reasons) talk to the folks @ OOIDA, I'm sure they know what you are dealing with.

I work for a good company, and i consider myself lucky I haven't had the displeasure of working for the Crash & Rollover Stunt Team, but i have witnessed countless times where crst drivers & teams exhibited stupidity to levels that Swift hadn't even reached. For example: flying down the road using 2 or more lanes at a times, almost hitting me while passing, tailgating numerous times, throwing urine bottles in parking lots when there are sanitary facilities close by, almost hitting me a few times while backing up, etc. Not to mention CSA scores that make me wonder why there hasn't been action taken against them, along with the shoddy training program that they run. There has been countless deaths and injuries resulting from poorly trained drivers in this industry, and as far as i'm concerned its time that these "2 week wonder" training outfits like crst, transam, prime, and others like them are made to pay the price.TruckerOllie Thanks this.
