    My opinion is don't buy a radio with a built in amp. A separate amp is best IMHO.

    It will work just fine if you dont let some hack shop "tune" it up...

    I'll second what Mike said. I have been running a 2970N2 for almost a year now with NO problems at all.
    BUT, if I had to do it over again, I would have bought a 2970 and a Texas Star

    the more things that are combined to one unit is just a risk that you will be without everything if it ever needs repair.
