There are more MCCD officers on the GA roads now than ever before, so I think you may be more likely to be looked at than in the past; but still not that high of odds you will be. You have business 'ITP' so you will be fine if you are asked.

Coming north on 85 you should be (mostly, unless a wreck) OK with traffic until you get to the junction of 75 & 85 on the southside of town. Comments about a holiday are true, too. If you want to tell the world where you are headed, many of us have experience in town and will give you the benefit of our knowledge.

    Happy New Year...in Atlanta!

always get there early, even if you have to park around the corner

you got bills that have your delivery, no problem

as a sidenote, i dont usually drive thru the middle, i take 285 to the nearest exit to where i have to go, but sometimes you just have to drive down the middle

GET THERE EARLY, hit the circle before 7am

Believe this or not, You can go thru Atlanta with no problem during Rush Hour, unless there's a wreak.. No Trucks or very few.. I use to have a dedicated run From Nashville, To Atlanta, I would deliver to the ford plant five day's a week and would get there around 1630 E/T every day. just in time for the mess. I would go thru and keep distance between me and the car's and keep on Moving.. if you notice the next time your in a backup. Truck driver's will drive close to the ones ahead, and when everything stops they have to get deep in the Gearbox and start all over. If they had distance they could just keep on moving.. Yes I drive trucks and been at it for along time..

again appreciate the responses. feel a little more confident now lol. got an earlier del at six so i shouldn't have any traffic issues. This seems to be a downtown week for me. Downtown Cleveland Downtown Atlanta, next is Downtown Detroit. Oh well better than sitting. Stay safe out there drivers and thanks for the help.

    oh the signs are there
you'll get away with it 99 times out of 100 going thru the middle but believe me. When not if they catch you...your fine will have 4 digits before the decimal point....I have lived south side atlanta since 1974 I do know what I am talking about...all you have to do is run into the one officer who is having a bad morning and he will BUSSSSTTTT that azzzzzzzzzz
