    Hi, all!
OK. Starting last winter , and re- appearing now that temps are 35 degrees , and below, I have a coolant Drip when the engine is cold , from a round " tube " that is Behind the water pump. It is not the water pump . I was advised there is an O-ring back there that will cause this, and have the new O-ring.
My question is, how difficult is it to get TO this O-ring ?
Appears I'll have to remove the water pump , but don't know what else ? Anyone done this job before, or know of a resource to point to , to get this done ?
KW says it takes about 4 hours. 4 X $115.00 per hour equals I'll do it myself !
    Thanks !

It's probably not an "O" ring. It may be a simple "cold-water-leak" that happens to hoses. Silicone hoses are worst for this. Tighten ALL the hose-clamps and see what happens overnight unless yer sure it's an "o" ring problem.

Yea , I can , when it starts dripping again. May not get cold enough here tonight. I Hope ! Hate losing anti-freeze.
However , I'm Sure it's not a hose. I've seen where its leaking from. It's Behind the water pump housing.

It's the water pump o ring. Happened to my daycab. Mechanics say it's cause when it gets really cold it cracks it. My truck had a big puddle after it sat thru the weekend.

Yup. Seems the colder it is , the more it leaks. Advice on how to replace it ?

The oil coolers on the cats do the same thing in the cold.
