My 510 done that some months ago, but was corrected with one of the updates.
Mark,
Copied (backed up) the User.ini file to my desktop, then deleted it from the unit. I'll see if it done any good tomorrow.
Thanks.Mark Kling Thanks this. -
I don't recall the weight station warning popping up every ten miles or at odd times when we tested this version. Some of the testers are on this version and no reports of this issue... We will try to figure it out.
thanks,

Still miffed my pos 700 broke 2 months after purchase (crappy design on the charger port the metal just came right out now will not charge).
-
Is it within one year of purchase?
If so then call Rand and do an RMA.
Thanks,
Mark -
It WAS within 1 year of purchase when it happened last year, they gave me a massive run around about the receipt thing. I purchased it via cash from a Loves but I did not think to save the receipt after the 30 day window to return it to Love's. The port broke day like 68 with it, the metallic ring in the mini/micro I forget which power port it uses, but it was one of those came loose, it jiggles in now and will not charge, UNLESS you hold the cord hard to one side and keep pressure on it. Had a garmin for like 4 years beat the heck out of it, its fallen out of the truck, and so on works fine. Seems to me a design flaw.

Is there any way to get the actual miles a POI is when you first look it up? I look for travel centers ALONG MY ROUTE to see what I can reach in my time limit.
I pick along my route as the option and get a list. Pick one that says 80 miles away and then when I select it and start route it changes to 130. Too far. I then have to go through the whole process again to find another one. The biggest change I've had was 100 miles.

Will the 12v charger from my 510 work with my 710?
I have both, but I am swapping out my 510 for the 710, and the charger is already kinda taped to the dash with other stuff. If the two chargers are identical, then I would like to just leave the one that is there in place.
