am i hearing you right? Highway Patrol was standing over a bridge, and saw one of your company drivers smoking, and followed him, hit him with the lights, made him stop on the shoulder (how unsafe is that) and then gave him a warning about smoking?

I wouldn't play that game if your log can't back it up.

And yet we can go serve in the war at 18 years old. Doesn't make awhole lotta sense to me.

Not pointed at you but it goes with your post.

That is not a problem.

Bingo that be correct.

Ohio passed the same law, about 6 years ago. Anyone who smokes still smokes, prob not a good idea to wave at a dot bear with a cig in your hand though.

Rat, don't explain a thing to the kind officer. Take your ticket, and get the ball rolling to call out the long arm of the law and govt. Exploit it to the max. They want to spy and catch you breaking the law (that is questionable to say the least) make their day! Yeah I got a bad attitude. lol

One reason I would love to be governor of my state for a little while. Would not enforce seat belt law, would reduce drinking age for those on active, NG, or Reserve military to 18. Feds would have a fit. Would withhold highway funding. No problem, they can clean I-35, I-80, and I-29 in Iowa all winter. Would not see one orange state truck on them. As for the military and drinking, governor is COC of the national guard. So, I would make all Iowa guard members under 21 NON DEPLOYABLE. If you can't have a beer, then you can't be made a target in a war either.
Of course, I would be impeached fairly quickly on, but it would all be worth it to cause a stink. At least it would be one last vain attempt to resurrect the 10th amendment.
