I know my company is looking for one or two more owner operators in CO. If you are looking for a driving job I would think that Plains or Concord Energy would both be hiring. If you are an owner operator I can have you talk to somebody at my company. Let me know. They won't let me send PM's because I don't have enough posts yet.

I would like to know

OK. I don't know sht about it but "they" also told me "they" never shut down in the Winter, some chain-up 15 times a day if not more, once in awhile their so stuck even chains will not get them out and have no choice to wait for the next driver to come along as there is no cell signal on the boonie roads out there.
It appears we will have a Winter this year and personally- I would look in TX or somewhere in that area. Again I dont know a thing about it and it's been at least two years since I've been over there, but for me No Thanks. I'm sure they earn every cent and then some.
I have also heard though McDonald's pays $15 an hr in Williston, and have thought of applying there. -
This should be my seventh post. Hopefully it will let me send a pm. I hate to blast a phone number to the world.

Hello Everyone,
I'm a new trucker who got his start in the oil fields. I know I had a lot of people help me online and out here in the patch. I'm posting videos of my journey on youtube if anyone is interested in following a greenhorn getting started in the oil patch.
Stay safe out there.

I keep hearing how much money you make in the oil field must be in hauling crude maybe water but sand not so much. At least not where I'm at $4000 to $5000 a week to the truck is a good week. After fuel the percentage the company your leased to takes, repairs, taxes, insurance,if you have to pay a driver doesn't leave much. I remember when $10,000 a week to the truck were common not any more, at least not where I'm working. If your doing better I'd like to know where?

I'd like to know too! For some odd reason the sand is pretty much dead as far as Revenue goes. Best I've seen is $6200; gross.

To many trucks coming in and trying to get rich messed up a good thing. A large % will go broke, but they'll cut rates so much it will take a while to back 1/2 of what we lost. Won't be long being a freight hauler will start to look good THE THOUGHT MAKES ME NAUSEOUS

I know of a ND water hauler paying $4k/wk for insane hours (all of them, minus 34 per week), but he rarely has any openings!
